Kim, Han Gahp farm owner of Saeaju Farm

"I've been always worried of the high degree of SCC, somatic cell counts, in milk, but the problem is gone now and I feel happy managing this milk cow farm". Mr. Kim, the owner of Saeaju Milk Cow Farm located at 112-1 Mt., Yongjung 1 ri, Jingun-eup, Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do, once thought to quit running the farm owing to the high degree of SCC in milk, but now

the annoying SCC matter is not a problem for him and says he is going to keep running the farm.

Kim says "The reinforced standard on the SCC makes the milk cow farms be in much tougher business conditions because of the penalty imposed on the farms of high degree of SCC," and he emphasizes the farms which can cut down the number of SCC will survive in the future.

Last year, while Mr. Kim was treating mastitis of milk cow, residual antibiotics were found in raw milk. Consequently, the raw milk gone into the trash can. Furthermore, upon the economic losses of the wasted milk, the milk company warned him that it would not buy his milk if antibiotics found again. In addition to it, what makes his feeling hurt was the much worse grade of his milk than others. The low-graded sheet, which made him feel shameful, was so disappointing that he once thought to close the farm.

Mr. Kim says that the high degree of SCC over 700,000 was chronic problem. However, in the critical situation, he tried to feed Biotite V, which was provided free of charge by Seobong BioBestech Co. Ltd., to milk cow, and the results was so amazing. Only after two months of feeding of Biotite V, the SCC fell down to 400,000 and the down tendency is going on. For the help of Biotite V, he is expecting to get second grade for his milk. He says that he was really surprised, when the chronic mastitis was cured making the hard breast become soft only feeding Biotite V. And the increased immunity naturally eliminated Bloat and Foot rot. Surprisingly, diarrhea was decreased greatly and not a calf was dead. Now Mr. Kim recommends Biotite V to other milk cow farm owners who are worrying about SCC.

Saeaju farm is now raising 34 heads of milk cow, growing heifer 20, beef cattle 11. The milk quality is good with the 3.9% of milk fat, and the bacterial count is first grade.

In conclusion, Mr. Kim says he has got a lot of expectations in Biotite V for the goal of the first grade of SCC in milk.
