2002, I started feeding it to calves. At first I had doubts about Biotite "V" but later not only did I feed it to calves but I started supplying them to cows and sprinkled them in cowhouse. About a month later, I was amazed with the results of using Biotite "V". The mortality of calves from diarrhea caused by salmonella was usually 85∼90% while there was no exact cure for the diseases. After a month, the mortality declined to less than 10%. I was pleased to see that not only the motality decrease but also the digestion improved and the immunity against disease increased considerably, making it possible for the calves to grow up normally. Also I spent about USD 3335 for antibiotics monthly, but this dropped to USD 585. Since my experience of using Biotite "V", I have trust in the effects of Biotite "V" so I am continuously using it. I have interest in the producing amount of meat and quality of meat. After 2 months I plan to carry out an carcass evaluation and a taste sampling party.
If there are other people who are worrying about calf mortality, I would recommend Biotite "V".
