“Respiratory diseases decreased, Mortality rate reduced & “A” graded pigs increased

Mr. Jongkil Lee (56), the owner of Daehung Farm, says, “Last year, because of the slump of pig price, diseases and others, the pig farming conditions were worse than those under the IMF era. Nevertheless, I think I could go through the tough time thanks to “Biotite V”.”
|
He has been running the farm for 10 year to date, which is located in Daehung-ri, Seonjang-myeon, Asan-si, Chungcheongnam-do and has 3,000 pigs including 300 sows.
In the year 1995, Mr. Lee financed the government’s money and started pig farm business in earnest, but the difficulty of farm management caused by the debts to the government and other reasons led him to increase the number of pigs exceeding the capacity level of the farm. Under the intensive farm conditions, respiratory diseases increased and the number of sick and dead pigs escalated. Consequently, the farm management went worse.
In the mean time, antibiotics replacement “Biotite V” showed up like a messiah to him.
He first saw “Biotite V” on a newspaper advertisement in last May, 2003 and felt interested in the product. After a while, he provided with 50kg of “Biotite V” and supplied it to sick pigs to test the product and the results were surprising.
After “Biotite V” inclusion, sick pigs, which got respiratory diseases, decreased from 20% to 5%. So, he expanded “Biotite V” inclusion to all the pigs in the farm. In addition to it, ammonia gas in the pig pen reduced considerably and the bad smell downed quite much.
Furthermore, US$8.7 of medicine cost for a sow per month went down more than 30% to US$6 per month and pre-medication and antibiotics were not necessary in the farm anymore. So, the farm management became easier. Moreover, though it could be delayed for about average one month to sell pigs to the market, “Biotite V” enabled to provide pigs to the market without wasting one month. Besides it, last month, A and B grade of pigs increased far more than before. While experiencing these effects for about a year, he has become admirer of “Biotite V”.
Mr. Yeonkwon Jung, the CEO of Seobong BioBestech Co., Ltd, who developed environment friendly antibiotics replacement “Biotite V”, even has introduced the product to the global market as well as domestic market. In the global, the excellence of natural substance based “Biotite V” has been proved in Spain, where a major animal health company tested the product with 600 piglets and the results were as good as expected. Right after the trial, 20 tons of “Biotite V” was shipped to Barcelona.
Prior to Spain, last September, Seobong BioBestech Co., Ltd. acquired business license of “Biotite V” from the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries of Japan, the most conservative and regulated government in Asia and entered into an agreement with a Japanese partner to supply 100 tons per month for the first 6 months. According to the contract, the first shipment to Japan was made in last December. After the six months, the quantity will be tripled to 300 tons per month and after two years it will go up to 600 tons per month.
Currently, Seobong BioBestech Co., Ltd. is negotiating with a Chinese partner to provide large quantity and is planning to expand the market to southern Europe: Spain, Portugal, Italy and France.
In domestic market, “Biotite V” is being provided to about 10,000 farms, government owned NACF (National Agricultural Cooperative Federation) feed mills and private feed mills, etc and the amount of annual sales quantity is more than thousands tons.
