I am managing a pig farm raising 130 sows at Nonsan, Chungchengnam-do, Korea. While running the farm, I have continuously experienced mortalities of piglets from diarrhea and respiratory diseases from winter 2001 to spring 2002. In the mean time, I saw the advertisement in The Livestock Times saying that Seobong Biobestech Co. Ltd. was providing "Biotite V", feed additive, free of charge for the farms that were having problems with diarrhea and respiratory diseases of pigs. So, I called and received Biotite V, and fed it with feed. After feeding, I could see considerable decrease in diarrhea. Furthermore, the usual mortality rate of 20∼25% dropped to 1∼2%.
